and i caved and signed up for facebook.  sigh.  *edit* alright SLAI, i concede.  it's a surprisingly efficient way of keeping in touch.

a random family post for fun...annual family turkeyday shenanigans.  i think the four of us have learned how to have fun together again.  i am thankful.

richard's the photographer, courtesy of the canon powershot timer.  my parents are cute huh.  richard finally cut his hair..it was crazytimes (as long as mine) just 2 wks ago.

<discussing what to do last night>
Richard: let's go see casino royale
Mommy: oh!!! the royalty!! wo yao kan! (i want to see)
Cindy: haha, no mommy, casino royale
Mommy: yah! the royalty!!! but i also want to see nage (that) borat movie
Richard: no mom, casino royale.  and borat is really crass, you wouldn't like it.
Mommy: dui ma, shemme? (right, what?) Royalty!
<Cindy and Richard give up>
...outside the theatre, looking at the sign...
Mommy <pulling at Daddy's jacket>: look, see, it says Royal...oh.
<we all crack up>
**her English is really good, i swear she does this to make us laugh.

"Therefore we do not lose heart.  Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.  For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.  So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen.  For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal." (2 Corinthians 4:16-18)
